Description
The McIntosh MA252 is a hybrid stereo integrated amplifier designed for high-fidelity two-channel audio systems. It combines a vacuum tube preamplifier stage with a solid-state power amplifier to deliver detailed sound reproduction with controlled low-frequency performance.
Featuring McIntosh Hybrid Drive™ technology, the MA252 uses two 12AX7A and two 12AT7 vacuum tubes alongside a direct-coupled solid-state output stage. The amplifier delivers 100 watts per channel into 8-ohm speakers and 160 watts per channel into 4-ohm speakers.
The MA252 includes analog audio inputs, tone controls, a moving magnet phono input for turntables, and a headphone output for flexible integration into home stereo systems.
